Your Role:
You will play a vital role within our dynamic organization, working cross-functionally across different departments. You'll facilitate the smooth transition of files to the closing table, ensuring loan readiness, verifying file completeness, and tracking pre-closing activities You will learn and use our proprietary technology to deliver excellent customer satisfaction and help the company continue to improve and innovate.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with borrowers via email, phone, and other communication channels to obtain underwriting documents promptly.
  • Review underwriting documents to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Preliminarily clear loans for closure and collaborate with senior staff members to address any additional document requirements.
  • Assist in asset management and related tasks.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills in all interactions with borrowers and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date records of all loan-related documentation and correspondence.
  • Collaborate with the originations team and legal department to address and clear any pre or post-closure conditions efficiently.
  • Ensure smooth coordination and communication between all involved parties to facilitate timely and successful loan closures.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 5+ years as processor or underwriter 
  • Knowledge of Excel or other similar tools
  • Ability to communicate well on the phone and via email
  • Knowledge or passion for real estate is a plus
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction, highly motivated
  • Ability to be flexibly, work well under pressure
